Citizenship

CHARACTER EDUCATION

The first “C” in character stands for “Citizenship” which many of you know from Social Studies comes with certain responsibilities and duties to your community, state, and country. Citizenship may be difficult to understand to some of you at this young age, but there are thousands of people coming from other countries every year trying to become US citizens. At Mt. Sinai Elementary School, students exhibit good citizenship by following rules, taking care of school property, not disrupting classroom learning, and being a positive influence on others around you.
