Honesty

Our new character education letter for this month is “H” which stands for “Honesty.” A synonym for honesty is truthfulness. In Social Studies, some of you may have learned that our 16th president of the United States was nicknamed “Honest Abe” for always telling the truth. Sometimes it may be difficult to tell the truth as a lie is easier and may not get you in trouble, but let’s make October the first month where we promise to always tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Liars, even when they speak the truth, are not believed. (Aristotle)
